Our first team building event since the corona pandemic

Some customers may have been surprised that we didn’t hold swimming lessons or one-on-one lessons on Saturday. But there was a simple reason for this: The entire Steiner swimming team was invited to a team building event that day. After the exhausting summer, our employees deserve some fun together. And the party went on until late into the night!

No one stayed dry!

Our afternoon together began at the grounds of the Vienna Police Sports Club. Of course, our activities also had to have something to do with water. For this reason, Felix from the company Teamgeist had prepared a small special feature for us: Raft building on the old Danube!

After a short speech by our Peter Steiner, we had to split up into three teams and we got to work quickly! The ideas and concepts were very different. Each team knotted and built to the best of their ability – they talked shop, discarded and improved the design. Also a self-painted team flag could not be missing to intimidate the opponent. Because at the end of the construction period, several races were on the program!

The final raft races were insane fun! To make a long time short: everyone got wet and no one stayed on the raft permanently!

In the evening we went a bit upstream for dinner on the Schinakl Islands. The food was visually and tastefully great, and the electrically powered islands were very flexible to combine. Thus, they are also suitable for larger groups like ours. Afterwards we danced on our large swimming Steiner island with music and celebrated until late at night. The floating islands have also survived this well.

We would like to thank our entire team again for the strenuous effort in the past summer months and hope that this day will remain in good memory for all of you!
