ORF contribution about the Steiner Swimming School during the second lockdown

Opinions are divided about the second lockdown. Today, an ORF team visited us during the filming of the show Wien Heute. Peter Steiner, Managing Director of Schwimmschule Steiner & Schwimmsport Steiner, was also interviewed.

The lockdown affects more than our swimming courses

The Covid-related closure of all sporting facilities, including all of the swimming pools in Vienna, has a direct impact on our swimming course program. In the ORF interview, Peter Steiner explains the challenges that the second lockdown is currently creating for our swimming school. But our swimming shop is also suffering from a loss of sales since there is no longer any possibility for the Viennese population to go swimming.

This year we actually wanted to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Steiner Swimming School with a big pool party with customers, friends and partners. However, given the current situation in Austria, such a celebration is not possible. We hope to be able to have our pool party next year without having to worry.
